Calling all artists and poets! Send us your pieces! June is all about creative expression.
We are thrilled to announce our first spotlight focused month; June is all about art and poetry!
As the use of AI creeps forward, it is important to take back the creative reigns. We don't need AI to make weird art, we can do it all by ourselves!

Moreover, creative arts and poetry is an integral part of organising; see this photo from the Museum of Neoliberalism below:

The Museum of Neoliberalism is currently looking for a new space to open, as, in a turn of cruel irony, the original studio is now being demolished for luxury flats.
Creating poetry alongside art, whether it's an art exhibition or a drawing, is yet another pivotal way to press back against the constant, monotonous drumbeat of capitalism that sucks the beauty and life out of everything.
Poetry is another beautiful and profound way that allows one to experience another's reality.
In order for me to write poetry that isn’t political
I must listen to the birds
and in order to hear the birds
the warplanes must stop.
~ Marwan Makhoul, Palestinian Poet
Therefore, we invite you to create art! Write poems! Share with us your favorite works that have inspired you!
Please submit your poetry, art, or musings on the overlap of both with politics and organising:
Email: contact@interregnum.live or ruby@interregnum.live
This coming June, all pieces published will be focusing on art and poetry. In July we will commence our usual circulation.
However, please send us any and all art or poetry throughout the year. Although June is art-specific, it is our hope that after this month we will feature creative pieces throughout the year.
