Interregnum are hosting a talk and open discussion with Professor Bill McClanahan and Gavin Brewis on the impacts of policing in our daily lives, and avenues for resistance.

About the speakers:

Bill McClanahan is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His writing on police, ecology, and visual cultures has appeared in Commune MagazineTheoretical CriminologyCrime, Media, Culture, and other outlets. He is currently coauthoring a monograph with Tyler Wall (University of Tennessee) on police, nature, and culture for Haymarket Press.

Gavin Brewis is a PhD Researcher at Glasgow Caledonian University. Gavin's research focus is Neds and Ned Culture (Glasgow circa 1995-2008) through an oral history of emotions and trauma.
